Terms of Service
Effective August 5, 2026
The deal
Ascension is made by Splurv Studios. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use Ascension. You must be at least 13 years old.
Your account
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. Keep your account to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under it. One account per person; no impersonating anyone else.
Your content
Everything you create — habits, check-ins and reasons, goals, pledges, posts, photos — stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to your tribe, because that is what the app does. Don't post anything illegal, anything that harasses or threatens someone, or someone else's private information.
The tribe
Tribes are small groups built on honesty. Tribe admins can remove members, and we can suspend or remove accounts that abuse other climbers, spam, or otherwise break these terms. Ascension works only if the evidence is real — cheat your check-ins and you are only cheating yourself, but abuse other people and you are out.
Cost
Ascension is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly before you are charged anything — no silent conversions.
Not advice
Ascension helps you keep promises to yourself and your tribe. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
The service, as it is
We are a small team and Ascension is provided as-is: we may change features, have downtime, or discontinue parts of the service. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months — which, while Ascension is free, is nothing.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, which erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
